My self portraits goal was to emulate the work of Tom Chambers. He practices layering photos and molding them to look like they are one. My idea was to create the image of me being a little girl because that is what i am binded to be, i feel like my parents are keeping me there. That is what the ribbon represents. This is a feeling a numerous amount of teenagers can probably relate to and thats why its so important to me to show it.
